School Fundraising Ideas

We'd love it if your school could support us by holding a fundraising event to raise money for our cause.

Feature Fundraiser:

5 cent Friday  5 cent pieces

How it works: Every Friday the students are encouraged to donate as many 5c coins as possible. This occurs throughout the term.

Grades/ Houses compete against each other to see who can donate the most.

The proceeds of the 5 cents are then banked and the donation is sent to States Schools' Relief.

(Thank you to Red Cliffs Primary School for submitting this idea).

There's plenty of fun activities you can do. Some of those in the past have included:

  • Casual Clothes day
  • Odd Socks Day: making an out of uniform statement that is easy and lots of fun
  • Winter Warmer - dress up in your favourite scarf and beanie
  • Footy Colours
  • Choose your shoes: decorate a pair of old shoes or wear non-school shoes for the day
  • Bad Hat Day: wear the worst hat you can find
  • What I want to be when I grow up (dress up day)
  • Single colour day: Everyone wears clothes in a chosen colour or choose 2 colours
  • Spelling bee
  • Guess the number of lollies in a jar
  • A-thons
  • Sausage sizzle
